The Governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun, has boastfully declared that the Dollar will crash against Nigeria’s currency, the Naira, a month from now. Speaking during a stakeholder meeting at the Cultural Center, Kuto Abeokuta, on Thursday, Abiodun said that the Naira will overpower the Dollar soon due to the prevailing economic difficulties in the nation.

Officials of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Wednesday, January 13, sealed off the Abuja house of former Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) during President Jonathan's administration, Air Chief Marshal Alex Sabundu Badeh located at No 19 Kumasi Crescent, Wuse II.
