On a bright and sunny day last month, 30 kids from the five boroughs of New York City gathered in Central Park to race their Soap Box Derby cars—gravity-powered vehicles they had built themselves. The winners would receive local bragging rights, a trophy, and a trip to Akron, Ohio to compete in the World Championships July 10 to 16.

The Southern Nigeria Frontier (SNF) has berated the Coalition of Northern (CNG) for describing Yoruba socio-political group, Afenifere as a terrorist group. Naija News earlier reported that the CNG in a statement by its spokesperson, Abdulazeez Suleiman, in Abuja on Saturday asked the federal government to proscribe Afenifere for allegedly undermining peace, security and peaceful coexistence of the country.

The 26-year-old Nigeria international was nominated for the award after scoring in Nottingham Forest’s first three games of the 2023-2024 season, continuing with the goalscoring form he ended last season with.
