A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja, on Thursday, disqualified Sherrif Oborevwori as the Delta State governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for the 2023 governorship elections. The ruling was delivered by Justice Taiwo Taiwo in a suit brought before the court by Olorogun David Edevbie challenging the emergence of Oborevwori, the Speaker of the State House of Assembly as the PDP candidate.
