The leadership of Afenifere has revealed that Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and former President Olusegun Obasanjo, are the reasons why the pan-Yoruba socio-political organisation would not be supporting presidential candidates from other regions of the country other than the South-East. The results of the supplementary governorship polls in the 2021 Anambra governorship election have started trickling in. Recall that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had declared the November 6 governorship election in the state inconclusive.
The Returning Officer for the Gubernatorial Election, Professor Florence Obi made the announcement at the INEC head office in Awka, Anambra capital.
